* What is a DENIER?
DENIER is the unit of measurement for the thickness of the yarn used to make stockings and tights.
The lower the DENIERS number 8, 10, 15, 20, etc. the thinner and more transparent the stockings or panties. On the contrary, the higher the number 40, 70, etc. the thicker and the skin is less visible.
On the other hand, there are opaque microfiber tights and pantyhose, in 50 and 100 denier, in which the skin is barely visible. They are commonly used in the fall-winter.
